Roofing in Miami-Dade: Miami, Hialeah and Coral Gables

Miami-Dade County
Roofing in Miami-Dade means building to the toughest wind rules in the state, wherever your house sits. We work in three towns that border each other: Miami, Hialeah to the northwest and Coral Gables to the southwest. The roofs, the permit offices and the paperwork differ a little in each, which is why every town has its own page.
Miami
Miami’s roofs are as mixed as its neighborhoods: barrel tile on older homes, flat roofs on duplexes and small apartment buildings, and metal on newer builds. Many addresses that say Miami are actually in unincorporated Miami-Dade, so the county, not the city, issues the permit. The Miami page explains how to tell which one applies.
Hialeah
Hialeah is a city of block and stucco homes, many with flat or low-slope roofs that live or die by their drains and seams. The city runs its own building department for permits and inspections. The Hialeah page covers flat roof care, insulation during a re-roof and estimates in Spanish.
Coral Gables
Coral Gables is known for its Mediterranean houses and their clay and concrete tile. The city reviews what a new roof will look like as well as how it is built, so the tile and its color are settled before the permit. The Coral Gables page walks through that review and what it means for your timeline.
One way of working in all three
The first visit is the same everywhere: a free inspection, photos sent the same day and a fixed written price with every part of the job on its own line. See the services we offer for what each job involves, or book with the form on this page.
